Hello! I’m Connor.

The Professional

My pronouns are they/them/theirs and she/her/hers.* I’m currently based in London but have roots in Baltimore, Maryland, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania — plus “sprouts” in a few other places.

I’m an experienced educator of over a decade, with a passion for workshop design and facilitation. Much of my work revolves around promoting peace and preventing violence. I’ve participated in a number of international fellowships in peacebuilding, negotiation, and conflict transformation, and love to connect with other changemakers around the world.

I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where I double-majored in Public Health and Gender, Sexuality & Women’s Studies, then completed a master’s degree in Conflict Transformation & Social Justice at Queen’s University Belfast. Soon, I will also earn a Global Leadership Diploma from the United Nations University for Peace!

The Personal

Of course, I’m also a full person outside of my professional life! I care deeply about being a good friend and my ability to support and ask for support from my community, my role as a sister, and the goofiness that I’m able to express with my loved ones. I enjoy traveling and find every possible opportunity to do so: work, study, leisure, and more. By the age of 25, I’d visited or lived in over 50 countries!

In my free time, I love to dance and quite enjoy distance running. I love working with children and have worked consistently as a swim instructor, babysitter, and nanny since the age of 14. My favorite part seeing young people discover what they love, encouraging them to realize that they have so much to offer to the world.

Guiding Values

I strive to create a safer space, mindful of the overlapping systems of power that exist in the world and the overlapping ways in which each individual experiences these uniquely. I care about building an anti-racist, trans-inclusive and gender-affirming, LBGT+ and sex-positive, disability-inclusive, and inclusive space for all. I value trauma-sensitive and survivor-centered approaches to dealing with violence, and turn to Transformative Justice as a valuable tool for transforming harm in accordance with these values.
